1947 Exhibition Match

The match was advertised as shown above, but after the programme shown below was printed, Henry Cotton withdrew and was replaced by English professional Bill Branch. The match  was played on Saturday, 4th October 1947 at Cardiff Golf Club over two rounds. The 6th and 7th holes were out of play, maybe because of their use for agriculture in the war years.
